The Indus Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Chennai 

The training arm of Indus Hospitality Careers & Training Pvt.Ltd is the renowned Indus Institute of Advanced Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, which started in Gurgaon in 1998, then moved to Whitefield, Bangalore in 2003, has now shifted to Chennai in a new avatar, The Indus Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

Students can expect the same highly focused, practical and job-oriented training as before but in bigger and more modern premises, spread over 15000 sq. ft. containing state-of-the-art training facilities. 

The first batch of around 20 students started their culinary training course on 5th July 2010 and subsequently,  we have conducted several courses in continental cuisine, galley stewarding, bakery & patisserie, and cabin stewarding. Many of the students received job offers from cruise lines even before the completion of their courses, while the rest were interviewed later and also offered jobs on cruise lines soon after.

Our cruise-oriented courses were designed with the assistance of Carnival Cruise Lines  who also guarantee job offers to those who successfully complete the courses. Several other cruise companies like Crystal and Apollo also recruit directly from the Indus institute.
